Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Haigh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Umbra Uxxarest (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haigh comes to the cage accompanied by Prayer of the Refugee by Rise Against . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 30 - 1, fighting out of New York, John Haigh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 26 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Umbra Uxxarest!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uxxarest misses with a straight right.
Haigh throws a head kick that half lands.

It looks like Umbra Uxxarest has been cut.
Haigh rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Uxxarest moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Haigh works the jab nicely.
Haigh misses with a right hand
and Uxxarest makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
A jab lands there for Uxxarest.
Haigh blocks a head kick by Uxxarest.
Uxxarest lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Haigh throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The fighters circle momentarily. Uxxarest darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Uxxarest misses with a looping left.
Haigh wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Haigh has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Blackstar Striking Academy in the buildup to the fight.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Haigh, as that shot connected.
Haigh throws a jab but it's blocked by Uxxarest.
Uxxarest looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Haigh pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Uxxarest looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Uxxarest.
Haigh throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Haigh lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Uxxarest avoids the head kick by Haigh.
Uxxarest raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Uxxarest paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Haigh cracks Uxxarest with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Uxxarest lands a head kick!

Haigh is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Haigh looks up at the clock. Bad move! Uxxarest lands a right hand from hell, dropping Haigh. Uxxarest pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
