The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blye tries to clinch but Henry is having none of it.
Henry steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Blye.
Blye uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Henry.
Blye misses with a straight left.
An attempted straight right counter from Henry misses the target.
Blye walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Blye lands with a nice combination. Henry backs away looking to recover.

It looks like John Henry has been cut.
Blye connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Henry swings widly with a right hand
and Blye counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Blye cracks Henry with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Blye is defended easily by Henry.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Blye throws an off balance right hand
enabling Henry to counter with a crisp jab.
Henry misses with the body kick
and Blye counters with a stiff right hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Blye swings widly with a right hand
and Henry counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Blye is rocked!

Blye clinches up with Henry and pushes him back against the cage.
Henry lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Blye backwards.
Blye is still on wobbly legs! Can Henry finish him?

Henry breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Blye swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Henry counters with a big right hand! Oh Blye is in trouble here! Henry follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Henry!
