Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Douglas Mcdonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Douglas Mcdonald!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dan Jones!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Jones closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mcdonald's guard.

Mcdonald is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jones is aware though and is defending well.
Mcdonald thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Jones should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Mcdonald has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Mcdonald will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mcdonald. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mcdonald shoots for a double leg takedown but Jones sprawls well. He's pushed Mcdonald's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Jones throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mcdonald's waist but Mcdonald gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jones off to one side.
Mcdonald is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Jones.
Mcdonald ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Jones looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jones lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Jones not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Jones drops back, looking for a kneebar! Mcdonald looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Mcdonald looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Mcdonald!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Douglas Mcdonald.
I think Mcdonald has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
