Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raja Abdullaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Skender Hakim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Raja Abdullaev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Skender Hakim!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Dmitry Maklakov and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abdullaev fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Hakim is out of range.

Hakim drives through with a takedown into Abdullaev's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hakim accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hakim gets to his feet - Abdullaev follows without any prompting.

Hakim closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Abdullaev to the mat! Abdullaev manages to get full guard.

Abdullaev wants to get back to his feet but Hakim is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Hakim drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hakim jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

It looks like Hakim might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Hakim drives through with a takedown into Abdullaev's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

and Abdullaev counters with a three punch combo that has Hakim backing up. Hakim nods at Abdullaev to acknowledge the strikes.

Abdullaev moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Abdullaev lands a lovely overhand right.
Hakim fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Abdullaev lands with an uppercut that bounces Hakim off the cage and back into range.

Abdullaev tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hakim paws at him with a jab and circles away.

A quick step to the side and Abdullaev tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Abdullaev throws a push kick but Hakim slaps the foot to one side.
Hakim shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Abdullaev sprawls well. Abdullaev wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hakim gets slowly back to his feet.

Abdullaev wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hakim has him pressed against the cage.

Hakim breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Abdullaev throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hakim stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Abdullaev misses with a kick to the body.
Hakim blocks a head kick by Abdullaev.
Hakim takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Abdullaev forces Hakim back against the cage and clinches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hakim tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Abdullaev wants to break the clinch but can't.
Hakim prevents Abdullaev from breaking the clinch.

Hakim tries to move into range but Abdullaev moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Abdullaev throws a low kick but it's checked well by Hakim.
Hakim changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Abdullaev is looking to break free of the clinch but Hakim has double underhooks.

Hakim breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Raja Abdullaev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Raja Abdullaev showed his dominance in that final round.
