Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Keith Morton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dan Bannana!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bannana looking to score a takedown here. Morton is defending well but Bannana drives through and ends up in Morton's guard.

Morton gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bannana to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Morton is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Bannana stands and steps away. Morton gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Bannana stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bannana wants it to stay on the feet.
Bannana lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Morton backs up against the cage.

Bannana throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Morton tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bannana is in Morton's guard.

Bannana tries to free his leg and advance position but Morton is retaining full guard.
Morton thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Morton bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bannana's guard.


Morton got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bannana has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Morton has managed to get both his arms back between Bannana's legs - danger averted.
Bannana is breathing heavily.
Bannana not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Morton drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Morton jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Morton tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bannana defends well and Morton ends up having to push Bannana into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Bannana shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Morton but Morton pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Bannana is stalling here. Morton is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Bannana seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Morton has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Morton is nestled in close to Bannana, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
