Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Olaf Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akuma Tanaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Archer lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Tanaka backs up against the cage.
Tanaka shoots in and drives through. Archer sprawls well.
Archer keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Tanaka throws a sloppy head kick
and Archer counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Tanaka avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tanaka looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Tanaka tries to move into range but Archer moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The fighters circle momentarily. Archer darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

It looks like Akuma Tanaka has been cut.

Tanaka tries to score a power double leg takedown but Archer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tanaka somewhat.

The fight stays on the outside here - Tanaka looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Archer uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Archer fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tanaka looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Tanaka will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Archer stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Tanaka changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Archer tries to avoid it but Tanaka manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Archer to the ground. Archer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
