Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Werner Gregory (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fvd Dfv (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Werner Gregory!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Fvd Dfv!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gregory instigates a clinch.

Dfv is trying to trip Gregory. He has hold of a leg but Gregory is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Dfv persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Gregory controls Dfv momentarily but Dfv frees himself.
Gregory could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Dfv looking to sit in guard and control but Gregory gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Gregory wants to control from the top but Dfv keeps moving.
Gregory chips away with some ground and pound.
Dfv not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gregory throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dfv works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gregory accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Gregory trying to control but Dfv is working from the bottom.
Dfv is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Dfv is trying to control the action in half guard but Gregory is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Gregory has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Gregory manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Dfv throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gregory was covering up waiting for the punch and Dfv finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Dfv trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Gregory manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Gregory gets to his feet. Dfv looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
No joy there for Dfv, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dfv scores with a sloppy right hand. Gregory should have avoided that one.

It looks like Werner Gregory has been cut.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gregory get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Gregory stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Dfv runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
