Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John Holmes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gunnar Killersson!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Eliza Hachem and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killersson throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Holmes connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Holmes swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Killersson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Holmes takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Holmes falls off balance throwing a combination
and Killersson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A swing and a miss from Holmes.
Holmes takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Holmes misses with a hook
and Killersson counters with a nice uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Killersson tries to bum rush Holmes with a series of wild strikes but Holmes uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A looping hook to the body misses from Holmes. Killersson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Holmes lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Holmes on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Holmes tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Killersson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Killersson connects with a body shot that sends Holmes's belly button to the back.
Killersson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Killersson lands a nice shot that snaps Holmes's head back.
Killersson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.


Holmes is rocked!
Killersson cracks Holmes with a good jab.
Oh Holmes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Holmes throws a body shot but no joy.
Holmes seems to have got his legs back now.
Killersson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Holmes looks to clinch
and Killersson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Killersson lands with a right hand.
John Holmes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Holmes wants to clinch
enabling Killersson to counter with a crisp jab.
Holmes loses concentration momentarily and Killersson pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Holmes crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Killersson finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Gunnar Killersson!
