The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olivio turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Olivio drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Rodriguez sneaks out the side door and pushes Olivio away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Olivio closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rodriguez to the mat! Rodriguez manages to get full guard.
Rodriguez has his feet on Olivio's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rodriguez tries to close the distance and clinch but Olivio swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Olivio closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Rodriguez bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Olivio bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Rodriguez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Olivio on the ground.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Olivio is looking to take a break and control but Rodriguez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Rodriguez is pushing Olivio's head away, looking to escape. Olivio manages to hold on to the position though.

Olivio perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Olivio thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Olivio is looking to advance position but Rodriguez won't allow it.
Rodriguez is looking to get back to is feet but Olivio passes into side control.
Olivio decides to stand back up.
Olivio throws a sloppy head kick
and Rodriguez cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Rodriguez dives in for a single leg takedown but Olivio sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Rodriguez looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Olivio is fending him off so far but Rodriguez persists. Nope, Olivio circles away and we're back to standing.

Olivio sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Rodriguez's guard.
