The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Sano and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanders gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Sanders really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Sanders tries for a takedown but Hattori manages to get underhooks.
Sanders pushes off an throws an elbow but Hattori leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Hattori tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Sanders just stands there and leans against the cage.
Hattori lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Hattori connects with a nasty looking knee right to Sanders's face.
It looks like Marion Sanders has been cut.
Sanders tries to score a body lock takedown but Hattori shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Sanders wants a takedown but no success here.

Hattori blocks an elbow strike from Sanders.
Sanders is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Hattori is defending well.

Hattori is looking to sweep but instead, Sanders has passed into half guard.

Hattori is concentrating on defense, preventing Sanders from advancing position.
Sanders tries to stand and escape but Hattori is controlling the position.
Sanders is working for an americana but Hattori has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Sanders was thinking about the submission.
Hattori looking for a triangle here. Sanders is fighting it but it looks tight! Hattori pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Sanders is tapping out - this one is all over!
