Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wamberto Boaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Waki Sashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boaz comes to the ring accompanied by Preciso me encontrar. Sashi has chosen Guano Apes - Big in Japan as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boaz misses with a looping left.
Sashi throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A slow jab from Sashi misses its intended target.
Sashi just misses with a punch to the body.
Boaz slips a jab from Sashi.
Sashi lands a nice shot to the body.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sashi moves out of range as Boaz strikes.
Sashi throws a looping overhand right but Boaz ducks down to avoid it.

Sashi looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Sashi throws a shot from downtown. Boaz moves away and avoids it.
Sashi throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Boaz sees it coming and avoids it easily.
It looked like Boaz wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Sashi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Boaz.

and Sashi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Sashi swings for the body but Boaz moves out of range.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Boaz lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sashi has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sashi and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Boaz tries to land a front kick but Sashi steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Sashi throws a shot from downtown. Boaz moves away and avoids it.
The fighters circling - Boaz throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Sashi throws a lazy right hand but Boaz sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Sashi thuds a left hand into Boaz's body.
Boaz displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sashi throws out the jab.

As Boaz backs off Sashi throws a huge counter combo but Boaz manages to avoid it all.
Wamberto Boaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circling - Boaz throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Boaz fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Sashi throws the left hand but Boaz avoids the punch easily.
Boaz swings for the body but Sashi moves out of range.
Sashi just misses with a punch to the body.

Sashi bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sashi comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Boaz pivots, looking for a leg kick but Sashi is out of range and Boaz settles back down.
Waki Sashi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Boaz takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Sashi throws an overhand right that lands on Boaz's shoulder, as Boaz tries to avoid the shot.

A looping hook to the body misses from Sashi. Boaz does a little dance to reset his feet.
Boaz uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sashi.
Sashi misses with a wild body shot.
Boaz uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sashi.

and Sashi counters with a nice uppercut.
A big left from Boaz misses.
Boaz jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Sashi lands with a nice body punch.

Boaz changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sashi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Sashi is not content to let Boaz control the position.
Sashi wants to control but Boaz postures up.

Sashi stops Boaz from passing to mount.
Sashi is looking to reverse the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Boaz tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Boaz has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Sashi tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Boaz presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Sashi tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Boaz can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sashi is looking to escape.
Sashi is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
Boaz blocks Sashi's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Sashi has given up his back here.

Boaz is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Sashi is tapping out! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Wamberto Boaz thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
