The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pawiloks tries to close the distance and clinch but Artois swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Artois scores with a punch to the head.
Artois throws a right and a left that Pawiloks avoids nicely.
Artois throws a series of strikes that have Pawiloks backpedaling.

It looks like Danielos Pawiloks has been cut.
Pawiloks misses with a two punch combination.
Pawiloks moves in looking to clinch but Artois pushes him off.
Artois lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Artois scores with a three punch combo!

Pawiloks shoots in and bounces Artois off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Artois is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Pawiloks is controlling him.

Artois is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Pawiloks presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Artois avoids a wild elbow strike from Pawiloks.

Artois has picked Pawiloks up - he's going for a ride! Artois dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Artois wants to pass the guard but Pawiloks is defending well.
Pawiloks wants to control but Artois is keeping busy and won't allow it.
