Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcos Wake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willian Robles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcos Wake has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Robles drives through and clinches with Wake against the cage.
I was talking to Wake's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Robles manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wake postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Robles is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Wake, into his guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
