Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kron Kai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kron Kai is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, David Hawk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kron Kai!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawk throws the kick towards the body but Kai avoids it.
Kai defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hawk.
A countering left hand to the body from Kai misses.
Hawk shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kai connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hawk misses with a double jab.
Hawk shoots in and drives through. Kai sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Hawk. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kai slips a jab from Hawk.
Hawk has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kai.
Hawk on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Kai works Hawk's body with a nice hook.
David Hawk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kai with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Hawk tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kai throws a front kick that sends Hawk stumbling back into the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hawk shoots in and gets a takedown into Kai's guard.
Hawk is breathing heavily.
Kai is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Hawk is looking to improve his position.
Kai tries to pass to full mount but Hawk defends it.
Kai controlling the action here.
Hawk is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Hawk wants to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Hawk has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Kai escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Kai!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hawk seems a little lost for a moment, as Kai dominates the positioning.
Hawk tries to improve position but can't.
A lull in the action here.
Hawk tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Hawk throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Hawk is trying to control Kai's posture but Kai avoids it.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
A lull in the action here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hawk misses with a few strikes there.
Hawk backing away here, and Kai unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Kai lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kai connects with a single shot there.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hawk takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Kai connects with a leg kick. Hawk looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Kai cracks the inside of Hawk's front leg.
Hawk throws a hook but Kai avoids it easily.
Hawk on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Hawk looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Hawk on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kai, as that shot connected.


Hawk is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
BOOM! Kai lands a beautiful left hook that drops Hawk. Hawk tries to recover but Kai is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Hawk lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kron Kai!
The defeated David Hawk had this to say: 'I lost? That's unpossible!'.
