Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eusebio Sullivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kendall Damon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kendall Damon will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Columbo Gatti and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damon dives in and grabs Sullivan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sullivan pushes down on Damon's head and hops out.

Damon takes the fight into the clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Damon.
Damon is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Damon breaks from the clinch.
Damon shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sullivan as he jumps to the side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sullivan sizes up Damon with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

and Sullivan counters by moving into the clinch.
Eusebio Sullivan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kendall Damon.

Sullivan pulls guard effortlessly.

Sullivan is working an open guard so Damon takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Damon avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sullivan misses with a few strikes there.

Sullivan postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Sullivan is looking to stand up but Damon won't let him.
Damon utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Sullivan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sullivan gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Damon closes the distance and clinches.

Damon drags the fight down to the ground.
Damon wants to stand up but Sullivan is controlling him.

Sullivan gets to his feet - Damon follows without any prompting.
Damon shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sullivan sprawls well. Sullivan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Damon gets slowly back to his feet.
Sullivan is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Damon.
Damon looks winded!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Sullivan gets control of Damon's arms and successfully pulls guard. Sullivan will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Damon must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Damon wants to control from the top but Sullivan keeps moving.

Sullivan is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Damon has his hands clasped together but Sullivan extends and breaks Damon's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Sullivan.
