Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wade Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Gall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wade Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Glen Gall!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gall looks to land a combination but Wallace avoids it well.
Horrible takedown attempt by Gall or perhaps it was just good defense by Wallace, which made it look bad.

Gall has taken the fight to the clinch.
Gall keeps control of Wallace as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Wallace is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Gall displaying some good clinch control by pressing Wallace up against the cage.
Wallace looking to slow down the pace here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gall is working for takedown but Wallace is calmly controlling the position for now.

Gall tries for a takedown. No joy.
Wade Wallace has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Glen Gall.

Wallace jumps into guard, dragging Gall to the mat.
Wallace is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Wallace is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Gall wants to control from the top but Wallace keeps moving.

Gall drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gall jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Gall is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Wallace not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Gall shoots in for a double leg but Wallace sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Wallace is looking for a counter combo.
Gall shoots for a takedown but Wallace saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Gall fails to land the takedown.

Gall blocks a head kick by Wallace.
Wallace tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Wallace wants to land a leg kick but Gall is out of range.
Wallace closes the distance and clinches up with Gall, looking for a takedown. Wallace pushes Gall against the cage but Gall circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Wallace dodges the punch combination from Gall.
Gall shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wallace pinned against the cage. Wallace gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Wallace appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Gall shoots in but Wallace avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Gall tries to work over Wallace's front leg with a kick but Wallace checks it.
Gall misses with an attempted mid kick.
Wallace half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Gall defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wallace.
Wallace wants to clinch up but Gall keeps it at a distance.

Wallace trying to control the position from guard on top but Gall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Wallace trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Gall wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Gall has his foot on Wallace's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wallace works his way back into a safe position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wallace tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gall sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wallace somewhat.
Gall throws a body shot but no joy.

Gall has managed to clinch.

Gall moves into the clinch successfully.
The referee calls for Gall to work.
Wallace is trying to pull guard but Gall has him pressed against the cage.

Gall swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Wallace tries to pull guard but Gall forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Wallace gets control of Gall's arms and successfully pulls guard. Wallace will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Gall slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Wallace wants to hit a switch here but Gall passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Wallace there!
Wallace keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Gall has hold of Wallace's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Wallace manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Wallace on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Wallace tries to get out of the position.
Wallace is trying desperately to improve position.
Gall wants to control the pace but Wallace is squirming around nicely.

Gall avoids the attempt from Wallace to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gall prevents Wallace from getting the reversal.
Wallace is squirming around, avoiding Gall's attempts to control the action.
You get the feeling that Wallace really doesn't like being in this position too much.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Gall looking to control and managing it successfully.
Gall throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Gall wants to control the pace but Wallace is squirming around nicely.
Wallace slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Gall is controlling the pace.

Glen Gall showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Gall shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wallace defends it nicely.
Wallace tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gall swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Gall shoots in for a takedown but Wallace shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Wallace misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Wallace is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Gall wants to control from the top but Wallace keeps moving.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Gall shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wallace but Wallace pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Wade Wallace has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Glen Gall.
Gall throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wallace's waist but Wallace gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gall off to one side.
It looked like Wallace was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Gall takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Gall clinches up with Wallace and pushes him back against the cage.
Wallace is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Gall trying to stall but Wallace improves his position.

Gall pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Wallace darts in and clinches Gall up against the cage.
Wallace fails to pull guard.
Wallace has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Gall after a bit of a struggle.
Gall prevents Wallace from breaking the clinch.
Wallace gets underhooks to prevent Gall's takedown attempt.
Gall drops down looking for an ankle pick but Wallace pulls his leg out and moves away.
Gall shoots for a takedown but Wallace saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Wade Wallace is winning the standup battle so far.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Wallace throws a right and a left that Gall avoids nicely.
Gall closes the distance and clinches up with Wallace, looking for a takedown. Gall pushes Wallace against the cage but Wallace circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Wallace fails with a takedown attempt.
Wallace shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gall as he jumps to the side.
Wallace shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gall as he jumps to the side.
Wallace throws a nice looking combination but Gall bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Gall shoots in but Wallace avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Gall shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wallace sprawls well. Wallace wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gall gets slowly back to his feet.
Wallace darts in looking for a takedown but Gall gets double underhooks and turns Wallace into the cage.
No luck for Wallace with that takedown attempt.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Wallace enables Gall to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Wallace manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
