The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Decker as Struts shoots in.
Decker blocks a head kick by Struts.
Struts closes this distance looking for a takedown but Decker circles away.
Decker went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Struts feints and as Decker raises his hands in defense, Struts changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Decker is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Struts got a little sloppy there for a moment and Decker has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Struts has managed to get both his arms back between Decker's legs - danger averted.
Struts engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Decker wants to hit a switch here but Struts passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Decker there!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Decker is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Struts has taken his back!

Decker is trying to get back to his feet but Struts has full control of the position and if anything, Decker has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Struts controlling the position well here. Decker rolled but Struts kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Struts.
Struts throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Decker!
Decker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Struts on the ground.
What can Decker do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Struts gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
Struts is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Decker tries to roll but Struts sticks to his back.

Struts is cranking Decker's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Decker! He's tightened the choke and Decker is tapping out!
