The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pekyew moves into range and clinches up with Cenabre.
Cenabre tries to land knees in the clinch but Pekyew avoids the damage to the body.
Pekyew tries to score a body lock takedown but Cenabre shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Pekyew is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Cenabre lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Cenabre unloads a knee to the mid-section. Pekyew lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Cenabre tries to land a knee to the head but Pekyew blocks with his arms.
Cenabre is defending well against a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Baki Pekyew. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Pekyew has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Oh but Cenabre is tightening it up a little... Pekyew has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight!
