Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jo Ballinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aznar Thrul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ballinger comes to the cage accompanied by Cheese Scones. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ballinger scores with a jab. Thrul acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Ballinger scores with a nice head shot.
Good standup being displayed there by Ballinger as he connects with a hook.
Jo Ballinger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ballinger.
A telegraphed right hand from Ballinger misses the target.
Thrul only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Ballinger fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Thrul manages to avoid it.
Ballinger changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Ballinger shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Thrul pinned against the cage. Thrul gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ballinger's jab looks to have found its range, popping Thrul under the eye.
Ballinger fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Thrul looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Ballinger takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ballinger scores with a hook to the body. Thrul takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Thrul fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ballinger.
Ballinger looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Ballinger throws a sloppy head kick and Thrul moves out of range easily.

Ballinger thows a left - swing and a miss!

and Thrul counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Ballinger is lucky that one didn't land flush.

The fighters circle momentarily. Ballinger darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Ballinger misses with a hook. Thrul ducked under it nicely.

Thrul pushes down on Ballinger's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Oh Ballinger is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ballinger wants to improve his position but Thrul is controlling well.

Thrul has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Ballinger defend it? Thrul steps over the head and cranks it - Ballinger is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Thrul!

Aznar Thrul tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
The defeated Jo Ballinger had this to say: 'You must defeat Sheng Long to stand a chance!'.
