PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lindsey Craft (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hulk Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hogan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Craft gets caught flat footed, as Hogan shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Craft manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Hogan trying to stall but Craft improves his position.

Craft is fighting off a takedown attempt but Hogan is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Craft to the mat. Craft regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Craft has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Hogan off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Hogan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Craft throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Hogan doesn't manage to clinch there - Craft circles away.
Craft really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hogan throws a head kick that misses.
Hogan scores with a head kick. Craft tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Hogan gets tackled into the cage by Craft. Craft maintains the clinch.
Hogan wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Hogan tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Craft avoids it.

Craft manages to break the clinch.

Hogan shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Craft manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Craft is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Craft wants to break the clinch but can't.
Hogan is trying to break free.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Craft escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Hogan gets a takedown into half guard.

Craft has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Hogan is on him like a limpet, forcing Craft back against the cage.
Hogan looks winded!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Craft jumps into guard, dragging Hogan to the mat.

Craft pushes Hogan off and gets back to his feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Hogan enables Craft to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hogan manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Hogan is wriggling around but Craft manages to pass to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Craft is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Hogan pushes Craft off but Craft dives into side control.

Craft has an Americana. Hogan didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Craft is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Craft hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Lindsey Craft!
