Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 wins, 1 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of Sydney, Pro Man!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 wins, 1 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of Sydney, Dillaan Dinnis!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Ben Watson and Bruno Hogan.



The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Man manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Dinnis on his heels. He'll look to pass Dinnis's guard now, I'm sure.
Man might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Dinnis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Man got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dinnis has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Man has managed to get both his arms back between Dinnis's legs - danger averted.

Dinnis wants to sweep here but Man controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dinnis is on top in guard.

Man knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dinnis on the ground.
Dinnis tries to free his leg and advance position but Man is retaining full guard.

Man throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Man can't keep his opponent in guard - Dinnis advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Man is staying active underneath Dinnis, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Man flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Man is looking to control Dinnis's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Man avoid being mounted?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dinnis trying to mount his opponent but Man defends it.
Dinnis thows a huge punch but Man dodges it nicely.
Dinnis looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Dinnis is taking a breather. Man says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Man pushes Dinnis off and gets back to his feet.
Dinnis circles away from the clinch attempt.

Man looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Dinnis manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Man dives in and scores a takedown into Dinnis's guard.

Dinnis looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Dinnis keeping moving, preventing Man from controlling successfully.

Man has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Dinnis isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Man stacks Dinnis on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Man!
Dinnis is trying to control Man's posture but Man avoids it.
Dinnis tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Man is looking to take a break and control but Dinnis is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Dinnis trying to remain calm as Man controls from the top position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dinnis is looking for a sweep.
Dinnis is trying to control Man's posture but Man avoids it.
Dinnis sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Dinnis manages to get to full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dinnis keeping moving, preventing Man from controlling successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Pro Man will probably get the nod.
That's time! Man's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Man looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Dinnis!
Man tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Man is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dinnis can do to turn this around?

Man with the ground and pound but Dinnis uses the opportunity to regain guard.

Dinnis lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Man seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Dinnis wants to control from the top but Man keeps moving.

Dinnis thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Dinnis is in close to Man's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Dinnis pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Man is keeping the position for now.

Man working for submissions but it's allowed Dinnis to get to half guard.
Dinnis is nestled in close to Man, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

We've been informed that Dinnis has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Dinnis is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Man has managed to free his arm - good work.

Man on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Dinnis is trying for a kimura here. Man looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Dinnis wins by kimura!
