Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gunnar Tromp!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Leandro Rodrigues and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tromp misses with a two punch combination.
Tromp shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Harrak but Harrak pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Tromp misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tromp shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Harrak defends it nicely.
Harrak fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tromp looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tromp connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Tromp tries to close the distance and clinch but Harrak swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tromp throws a combination that misses
and Harrak counters with a nice body shot.
Tromp bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Tromp shoots in looking for a takedown but Harrak manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tromp's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Harrak was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

It looked like Harrak wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Nice takedown defense from Harrak. No joy for Tromp on that attempt.
Harrak was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Tromp keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tromp steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Harrak.
A little jabbing left from Tromp on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Tromp wants to clinch
and Tromp takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Tromp shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Tromp was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Harrak managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Tromp.

Tromp stands up and beckons Harrak to his feet.
Harrak jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Tromp throws a series of strikes that have Harrak backpedaling.
Tromp wants to clinch.
The fighters circling - Harrak throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Tromp will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Harrak is looking to counter punch.

Tromp moves into the clinch.
Harrak swings wildly with an uppercut but Tromp uses good head movement to avoid it.
Harrak swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Harrak misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Tromp breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Harrak looks to throw the jab but Tromp is out of range.
Tromp takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Tromp throws a sloppy head kick and Harrak moves out of range easily.
Some bone on bone action there as Harrak checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Harrak looks to land a left hand but Tromp moved out of range nicely.
Harrak slaps away a takedown attempt from Tromp, before circling back to the center of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Horrible takedown attempt by Tromp or perhaps it was just good defense by Harrak, which made it look bad.

Gunnar Tromp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Harrak has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Tromp decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
