The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christianson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Quik slips a jab from Christianson.
Quik connects with a high kick.
Christianson throws a nice inside leg kick.
Quik on the wrong end of a nice hook.

It looks like Jamal Quik has been cut.
Jamal Quik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Christianson moves out of range as Quik throws a body kick.

Christianson tries to keep at a distance but Quik has taken the fight into the clinch.
Christianson throws a punch but it's blocked by Quik.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Quik creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Quik changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Christianson fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Quik throws out a loose jab but Christianson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Quik looks to land a right hand but Christianson moved out of range.
It looked like Christianson was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Quik.
Gabe Christianson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Christianson feints and then cracks Quik's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Quik down.
Quik throws a head kick that misses.
Quik thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Christianson if he has to take too many more of those.
Quik lands a nice hook to Christianson's body. Christianson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Quik tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Quik takes one to the chin there.
Quik takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Quik walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Quik is rocked!
Quik leaves his chin hanging out and Christianson seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Quik crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
