Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fredrick Glass!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pegas leaves Glass with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Good standup being displayed there by Pegas as he connects with a hook.
Pegas throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Glass.
Glass tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Pegas is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Nice body punch from Pegas.
Glass is looking to clinch.
Glass with a lazy takedown attempt
and Pegas counters with a stiff right hand.
Pegas misses with a head kick.
Glass closes the distance but Pegas moves to the side
and Pegas counters with a slapping leg kick.
Glass blocks a head kick by Pegas.
Glass shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Pegas counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Jon Pegas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fredrick Glass.
Pegas lands a right hook to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Glass shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Jon Pegas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Pegas scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Glass fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Pegas tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Glass manages to circle out of the way.
Glass walks into a left hand.
Glass throws a lazy head kick
and Pegas counters with an inside leg kick.
Jon Pegas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Glass looks winded!
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Pegas. Glass shrugs it off though.
Glass doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Glass takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Pegas feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Glass sprawling to the canvas! Glass rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Pegas finish him?!


Glass is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
OH! Glass has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Pegas smells blood and charges in for the finish! Pegas unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Glass sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jon Pegas!
