PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Annoying Kids (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Carlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Architects of Life kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kids throws a body kick that misses.

Carlin drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Kids pushes Carlin off and scrambles back to his feet.
Kids throws the left hand but Carlin avoids the punch easily.
Kids darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Carlin fails with a takedown attempt.
Carlin shoots in and drives through. Kids sprawls well.
Carlin fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Annoying Kids has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Carlin.
Kids throws a body punch but Carlin moves out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Carlin avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kids misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Carlin shoots in but Kids avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kids moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Kids pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kids scores with a crisp jab that stopped Carlin in his tracks.
Kids lands with a shot to the body.
Kids throws a right and a left that Carlin avoids nicely.
Kids stuffs the takedown attempt from Carlin. Carlin gets slowly back to his feet.
Carlin takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Kids scores with a punch to the head.
Kids scores with a decent looking hook.
Carlin shoots in for a takedown but Kids shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Kids defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Carlin.
Carlin tries for a takedown but Kids sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kids ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Carlin moves away.
Carlin is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Kids throws a series of strikes that have Carlin backpedaling.

Carlin is rocked!

It looks like George Carlin has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Carlin glances at the clock... BAM! Kids nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Carlin crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Carlin is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
