Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Some bone on bone action there as Lorente checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Irerod Lorente seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Harris misses with a hook.
Harris displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lorente.
Lorente fails with a takedown attempt.
And Harris counters with a quick kick to the body but Lorente blocks it.
Lorente gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
enabling Harris to counter with a crisp jab.
Alton Harris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Irerod Lorente.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Harris with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Lorente has closed the distance and engaged Harris in a clinch.
Harris could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Harris pulls guard effortlessly.
Lorente throwing strikes but missing.
Lorente must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Lorente drops back looking for a leg! Harris is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Harris manages to kick Lorente off! Lorente jumps back into Harris's guard.
Lorente content to stall in guard here.
Harris has his foot on Lorente's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lorente works his way back into a safe position though.

Harris is trying to control the position but Lorente postures up.

Harris has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Lorente should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Harris has tightened it up now! Lorente should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
