The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bender darts in and clinches Bulver up against the cage.
Bender is trying to drag Bulver to the mat but Bulver just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Bulver wants to get back to striking at distance but Bender won't allow it.
Bender manages to break the clinch.
Bulver throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bender counters with a series of strikes. Bulver will be more careful next time no doubt.
Bulver rushes Bender and presses him up against the cage.
Bulver has had enough of the clinch but Bender keeps him there for the moment.
Bender's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bulver wants to break the clinch but can't.
Bender tries to score a body lock takedown but Bulver shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
