Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oscar Gonzalez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Nathan Parrell!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, John Roberts and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalez looks to land a combination but Parrell avoids it well.
Parrell has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Parrell misses with a double jab
and Gonzalez counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A head kick by Gonzalez misses
and Parrell counters with a one-two to the body.
Gonzalez takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Parrell throws a right hand that Gonzalez ducks under and follows up with a left that Gonzalez also avoids with ease.
Gonzalez scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.


It looks like Nathan Parrell has been cut.
Left hook, right uppercut from Parrell.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gonzalez misses with a kick to the body.
Oscar Gonzalez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Parrell works over Gonzalez's head and body with a nice combination.
Parrell scores with a crisp jab that stopped Gonzalez in his tracks.


Gonzalez is rocked!
Parrell connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gonzalez. Gonzalez circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Oh Gonzalez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Parrell fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Parrell connects with a right hand. Gonzalez shakes it off.
Gonzalez tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Gonzalez misses with a two punch combination.
Parrell tries to counter with a clinch but Gonzalez shakes him off and moves away.
Parrell cracks Gonzalez with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.

Gonzalez has taken the fight to the clinch.
Parrell wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Gonzalez breaks from the clinch.
Gonzalez drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Parrell misses with a series of wild punches.
Gonzalez throws a counter high kick but Parrell was just alert enough to avoid it.
Gonzalez tries to clinch up but Parrell circles away and keeps his distance.
Gonzalez walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Nathan Parrell!
