Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Borys Hund!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sausage McGriddle!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Konstantin Menshow and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hund leaves McGriddle with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
McGriddle fails with a takedown attempt.
Hund will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Hund tries to sprawl but McGriddle drives through with a takedown into half guard.
McGriddle prevents Hund from standing back up.
Hund definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
McGriddle is looking to take a break and control but Hund is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Hund is trying to defend against the ground and pound but McGriddle scores with a couple of nice shots.

McGriddle is looking for a kimura but Hund is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for McGriddle to get the leverage.
Hund tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

McGriddle looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hund with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
McGriddle wants to pass the guard but Hund is defending well.

Hund has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but McGriddle is on him like a limpet, forcing Hund back against the cage.
McGriddle has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hund is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Borys Hund has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sausage McGriddle.
McGriddle trying to control the position but instead, Hund has worked for underhooks and has pushed McGriddle into the cage.

That was a close round but I would say that Borys Hund will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

McGriddle shoots in for a double leg but Hund sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
McGriddle tries to lock up and control but Hund gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

McGriddle sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Borys Hund is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
