Shankoli comes to the cage accompanied by Ravi Shankar - Om Shiva. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Seppo Silvennoinen enters the cage!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shankoli turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Shankoli lands an overhand right.
It looks like Seppo Silvennoinen has been cut.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Silvennoinen.
Shankoli throws a body punch but Silvennoinen moves out of range.
Silvennoinen connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Shankoli momentarily.
Silvennoinen cracks Shankoli with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Silvennoinen cracks Shankoli with a good jab.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Silvennoinen.
Silvennoinen misses with a left hand
and Shankoli counters with a stiff right hand.
Seppo Silvennoinen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Silvennoinen. Shankoli does a little dance to reset his feet.
Shankoli jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Both fighters circling a little - Shankoli finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Silvennoinen takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Silvennoinen fails with a takedown attempt.
Ravi Shankoli has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Seppo Silvennoinen.

Silvennoinen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Shankoli avoids it really well and circles away.
Silvennoinen shoots and misses
and Shankoli counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Silvennoinen goes for a double leg but Shankoli avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Shankoli continues to drive forward.
Shankoli is looking for a counter combo.
Silvennoinen rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Shankoli counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Silvennoinen looks winded!
Silvennoinen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Shankoli fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Silvennoinen manages to avoid it.
Silvennoinen takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Silvennoinen tries for a takedown but Shankoli circles away easily
and Shankoli counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Shankoli works over Silvennoinen's head and body with a nice combination.
Silvennoinen has his takedown stuffed
and Shankoli counters with a nice right hand that sends Silvennoinen toppling to the canvas! Silvennoinen scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Shankoli finish him?!
Silvennoinen is rocked!

Shankoli throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Silvennoinen is still on wobbly legs! Can Shankoli finish him?
Shankoli cracks the inside of Silvennoinen's front leg.
Silvennoinen seems to have recovered his senses.
Shankoli throws a monster overhand right that drops Silvennoinen! Shankoli follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

Ravi Shankoli took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'His spirit was strong, but my intention was to crush him. Psychologically, as well as physically with my boxing. I knew that he would be a willing opponent, and he showed heart, but my soul wanted this more! I feel strongly against animal violence, but in this case taking the hammer to the panda wa'.
Seppo Silvennoinen spoke after the fight, saying 'Shut the fuck up'.
