Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Reggie Braga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sebastian Ho!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Phil Schofield and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ho gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Braga to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Braga is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ho is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Braga defends well.
Braga content to stall in guard here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Braga has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Braga slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Braga seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Ho for as long as he can get away with.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Braga looking to break Ho's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Ho remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Braga will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

A solid leg kick lands there for Braga.
Braga looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Sebastian Ho is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Ho scores with a takedown into Braga's guard.
Braga is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Braga tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ho knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Braga is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ho can do to turn this around?

Braga is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Braga circles away from the clinch attempt.

Ho shoots in and gets a takedown into Braga's guard.
Ho won't allow Braga to sweep him here.

Braga is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Ho shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sebastian Ho showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!



Ho throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Braga was covering up waiting for the punch and Ho finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Braga is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
More hug and hope from Braga.

Braga is working for a submission of some sort.
Braga uses his free foot to push down on Ho's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ho.

Ho gets back to half guard.
Reggie Braga overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Ho takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Braga moves into full mount! Ho won't be happy about that!

Braga takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Braga's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Well Braga has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
