Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Andy Huber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and TJ Dillashaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Andy Huber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, TJ Dillashaw!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huber wants to clinch up but Dillashaw keeps it at a distance.
Dillashaw stuffs the takedown attempt from Huber. Huber gets slowly back to his feet.

Dillashaw dives in and scores a takedown into Huber's guard.
Dillashaw is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Huber is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Huber looking for a sweep. Not yet Huber, not yet.

Dillashaw gets to his feet. Huber looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Dillashaw throws a sloppy head kick and Huber moves out of range easily.
Dillashaw takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Huber shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Dillashaw feints and as Huber raises his hands in defense, Dillashaw changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Dillashaw trying to control the position from guard on top but Huber is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Huber controls Dillashaw momentarily but Dillashaw frees himself.
Huber has his hands on Dillashaw's head, controlling the position.
Huber continues to stall.
Huber keeping moving, preventing Dillashaw from controlling successfully.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Huber could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Dillashaw misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Dillashaw scores with a takedown into Huber's guard.
Dillashaw loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dillashaw throws an elbow that misses. Huber uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dillashaw's guard. Nice move by Huber!


Huber postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Dillashaw is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Huber, into his guard.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

TJ Dillashaw dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Huber goes for a double leg but Dillashaw avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Dillashaw continues to drive forward.

Dillashaw not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Dillashaw wants to control from the top but Huber keeps moving.
Huber is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Dillashaw drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Huber dives on top into guard.

Huber might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Huber tries to control but Dillashaw wriggling away.
Huber tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dillashaw can do anything to dispel that myth.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Huber misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Huber takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!



Dillashaw darts in and clinches Huber up against the cage.
Huber is trying to force a seperation but Dillashaw has the dominant position.
Dillashaw keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Huber's efforts to push away.

Andy Huber overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Huber is looking to work some ground and pound but Dillashaw has wrist control.

Dillashaw takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Dillashaw has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Huber can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Huber throws a big right hand that misses.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Huber is pulling down on Dillashaw's head. It's preventing any offense from Dillashaw, at least for the moment.

Huber is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Huber clinches up with Dillashaw and pushes him back against the cage.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Huber tries to break the clinch but Dillashaw is controlling the position.

Huber breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Huber misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Dillashaw darts in and clinches Huber up against the cage.

And that's the end of the fight!
TJ Dillashaw comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Dillashaw has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
