Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arstanbek Almazbekov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Almazbekov's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, System Of A Down - Chop Suey!. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Almazbekov has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.


It looks like Arstanbek Almazbekov has been cut.

Allen gets caught napping as Almazbekov dives in and scores a takedown. Allen manages to retain guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Allen can do anything to dispel that myth.
Allen is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Allen might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Almazbekov haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Almazbekov is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Allen presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Allen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Almazbekov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Allen has managed to get both his arms back between Almazbekov's legs - danger averted.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Almazbekov is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Allen grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
Almazbekov lands a good shot there. Allen covers up! Almazbekov smells blood and goes for the finish - the referee warns Allen to improve his position but he's not intelligently defending himself and the referee has no choice but to step in and end the fight! Almazbekov jumps to his feet and celebrates the important win with his cornermen!

A relieved looking Arstanbek Almazbekov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
