The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pi Fian looks to land a combination but Smith avoids it well.
Smith displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Pi Fian throws out the jab.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Smith accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Pi Fian can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Smith controls the pace.
