Binio shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Gacy counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Binio wants to get back to his feet but Gacy passes into half guard.

Gacy is looking for a kimura here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gacy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
