The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shiit misses with a body shot.
Shiit throws a hook but Wednesday avoids it easily.
Wednesday stuffs the takedown.
Shiit uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wednesday.
Shiit on the wrong end of a nice jab.
A slow jab from Shiit misses its intended target.
Wednesday is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Shiit misses with a low kick.
Wednesday takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Wednesday throws a right and a left that both miss.

Wednesday tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Shiit manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Wednesday lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Shiit backs up against the cage.
Shiit bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Shiit shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Wednesday manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Shiit has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Wednesday manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Shiit manages to get himself to full guard.

Wednesday got a little sloppy there for a moment and Shiit has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wednesday has managed to get both his arms back between Shiit's legs - danger averted.

Wednesday avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Wednesday not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Shiit working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wednesday doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wednesday manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
