The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jon dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jon ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Tanaka misses with a double jab.
Jon shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Tanaka eats them both and turns towards Jon to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Hiro Tanaka has been cut.
Sloppy strikes from Tanaka. Those never looked like landing.
Tanaka looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jon takes a swing at Tanaka's ribcage but misses.
Tanaka fails to land with a series of punches.
Hiro Tanaka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tanaka will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Jon is looking to wear down Tanaka with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
No joy there for Tanaka, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Jon bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Tanaka throws a right and a left that Jon avoids nicely.

Jon dips to his left and cracks Tanaka with an uppercut!
Tanaka lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jon circles away quickly and effectively.
Tanaka takes one to the side of the head.
Jon misses with a double jab.
Jon connects with a single shot there.
Jon moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Tanaka is rocked!
Jon connects with the punch.
Tanaka is still on wobbly legs! Can Jon finish him?
OH! Tanaka has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Jon smells blood and charges in for the finish! Jon unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Tanaka sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
