Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Khabib Nurmagomedov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mr Noodle!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Alyssa Summers and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nurmagomedov avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Nurmagomedov clobbers Noodle with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Nurmagomedov lands a jab to Noodle's midsection.
Noodle throws a right and a left that both miss.
Nurmagomedov bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Noodle's head.
Noodle has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Nurmagomedov finds it's way round the side to connect with Noodle's head.
Noodle is rocked!
Are you kidding me?! Nurmagomedov ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Noodle clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Khabib Nurmagomedov!
In his post fight interview, Khabib Nurmagomedov started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
