Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wade Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Gall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wade Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Glen Gall!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wallace has taken the fight to the clinch.
Wallace working hard to break the clinch.
Wallace gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Gall.

Gall manages to break the clinch.
Wallace dives in and grabs Gall's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gall pushes down on Wallace's head and hops out.
Gall throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Wallace shoots in for a double leg but Gall sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Gall shoots in but Wallace avoids the takedown attempt easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wallace tries for a takedown but Gall sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Gall has taken the fight to the clinch.
Wallace tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Gall avoids it.
Gall fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Gall jumps guard but Wallace turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Wallace's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Wallace.
Gall fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
As Gall looks to move away, Wallace throws a big counter combo but Gall just gets out of the way.
Horrible takedown attempt by Gall or perhaps it was just good defense by Wallace, which made it look bad.
Gall tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Wallace is able to avoid easily.
Wallace tries to counter with a takedown but Gall is quick to defend against it.
Gall misses with an attempted mid kick.
Gall throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A little feinted left hand from Wallace on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Gall rushes Wallace and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Gall tries to pull guard but Wallace won't allow it.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Gall tries to land knees in the clinch but Wallace avoids the damage to the body.
Gall is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Gall has Wallace pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Wallace manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Wallace tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Gall avoids it.
Wallace wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Gall jumps guard but Wallace stands there with Gall around his waist. Gall gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Wallace drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Gall gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Gall is pressed up against the cage. Wallace has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Gall down to the mat. Gall avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Wallace has taken the fight to the clinch.

Gall pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gall.

Gall fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wallace, pushing him back against the cage.
Wallace misses with a punch to the body.

Wallace pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gall fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Gall darts in looking for a takedown but Wallace gets double underhooks and turns Gall into the cage.
Gall closes this distance looking for a takedown but Wallace circles away.

Wallace throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wallace tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Gall shoots in for a takedown but Wallace shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Wallace shoots in but Gall avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Wallace has taken the fight to the clinch.

Wallace gets underhooks to prevent Gall's takedown attempt.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Wallace goes for a takedown attempt but Gall pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Wallace keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Gall clinches up with Wallace and pushes him back against the cage.

Gall tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Wallace smiles and moves away.
Gall closes this distance looking for a takedown but Wallace circles away.
Wade Wallace has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Glen Gall.
Gall fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gall looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wallace is fending him off so far but Gall persists. Nope, Wallace circles away and we're back to standing.
It looked like Wallace wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Gall pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Wallace throws a big counter combination but Gall scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Gall's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Gall is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wallace sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Wallace went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Gall moves in looking to clinch but Wallace pushes him off.
Wallace seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Wallace defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gall.
Wallace shoots in for a takedown but Gall shows good takedown defense.
Gall thinks about the counter body kick.
A decent looking cross lands there for Wallace.

Gall moves into range and clinches up with Wallace.
Gall tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Wallace is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Gall jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wallace walks away with a smile on his face. Gall gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Wallace will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Gall breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gall stuffs the takedown.
Gall fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Wallace has closed the distance and engaged Gall in a clinch.
Wallace is looking to control Gall's arms but Gall gets an underhook and turns him. Now Wallace has his back to the cage.

Wallace breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wallace lands with a thumping leg kick.
Gall leaves Wallace with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Gall feints the counter takedown.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gall looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Gall shoots in for a takedown but Wallace shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Gall gets tackled into the cage by Wallace. Wallace maintains the clinch.

Gall decides to pull guard.
Gall has Wallace pulled in close to control his posture.
Wallace trying to control but Gall is working from the bottom.

Gall is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wallace defends well.

Gall trying to keep a closed guard but Wallace is proving a slippery customer.
Gall controlling Wallace's posture.
Gall looking for a sweep. Not yet Gall, not yet.
Wallace wants to control from the top but Gall keeps moving.
Wallace controls from within his opponent's guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Gall tries for a takedown but Wallace sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Gall closes the distance and pushes Wallace back into the cage.
Gall drops down looking for an ankle pick but Wallace pulls his leg out and moves away.
Wallace tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gall swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Wallace closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gall circles away.
Gall throws a head kick but Wallace moves out of range.
Gall avoids a kick to the body.
Wallace pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gall gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Wallace holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Gall takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Wallace ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Wallace no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Gall pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Wallace is keeping the position for now.
Gall throws a big right hand that misses.
Wallace throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Wallace looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gall is one step ahead there.
Wallace wants to stand up but Gall is controlling him.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Wallace preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Wade Wallace.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wallace, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
