The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Rumble.
Tural Agaev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rumble punishes Agaev's body with a nice straight punch.
Agaev throws a sloppy head kick
and Rumble holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Agaev.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Rumble.
Agaev is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Rumble creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Agaev's defenses.
It looks like Tural Agaev has been cut.

Agaev's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Rumble connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Agaev scrambles back to his feet.

Rumble takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Rumble darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Agaev has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Rumble.
Rumble has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rumble turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Rumble feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Agaev's calf.

Agaev works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Rumble was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Rumble moves into range and connects with a jab.
Agaev tests Rumble's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Agaev looks to land a left hand but Rumble moved out of range nicely.
Rumble pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Rumble uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Agaev.
Rumble throws a good cross that connects.
Rumble tries to land a leg kick but Agaev saw it coming and moves away.

Rumble lets loose with a powerful body kick. Agaev will feel that in the morning.
Rumble fakes the leg kick and cracks Agaev in the body.
Agaev is breathing heavily.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Rumble checks a leg kick.
Rumble doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Rumble swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Agaev.
Tural Agaev's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Rumble scores with a decent looking hook.
Agaev misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rumble moves out of range as Agaev strikes.
Rumble lands a glancing blow to the side of Agaev's head.
Rumble feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Agaev's calf.
Rumble moves into range and clinches up with Agaev.

Rumble stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
I was talking to Agaev's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Agaev is trying to break free.
Rumble utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.

Rumble lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Agaev backwards.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Rumble.
Jeez, Tural Agaev's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tural Agaev's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
