Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Billy Bush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Billy Bush!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lance Rock!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rock throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Bush counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Bush wants to pass to mount but Rock is defending the position.
Rock tries to kick Bush off but Bush keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Rock makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Bush changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rock looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rock wants to get back to his feet.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Bush misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Rock is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Bush asserts his dominance and retains side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rock sneaks out the side door and pushes Bush away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Bush looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Lance Rock is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bush wants to slow Rock down by chopping away at his legs.
Bush goes for a double leg but Rock avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Rock continues to drive forward.
It seemed like Rock was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Rock throws out a counter right but Bush avoids it with no problem.
Billy Bush seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rock gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Bush swings for the body but Rock moves out of range.
Bush throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

and Rock counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Bush uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rock.

Rock swings for the body but Bush moves out of range.
Rock throws a combination. Bush tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Rock's coach down at *****POLAR***** was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Rock's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rock fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Bush fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

and Rock counters with a straight right hand.
Rock lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Bush goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Bush throws a sloppy head kick
and Rock makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Rock let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Bush throws a body shot but no joy.
The crowd cheers as Rock lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bush doesn't seem phased though.

Bush lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Bush keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rock.
Bush shoots in but no luck this time.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bush shoots and misses
and Rock counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Rock takes one on the button.
Rock will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lance Rock dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Bush shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

Rock ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bush moves away.
Rock misses with an uppercut. Bush saw that one coming.
Bush takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bush shoots in looking for a takedown but Rock manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bush's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Bush shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rock pinned against the cage. Rock gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Rock is looking for the big counter here.

Rock throws out a counter right but Bush avoids it with no problem.
Bush walks into a straight right hand from Rock.
Billy Bush is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Rock throws a predictable looking body shot
and Bush counters with a one-two to the body.
Bush looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Rock lands a nice hook to Bush's body. Bush takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Bush shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rock's guard.

Rock wants to stand and escape but Bush is having none of it.
Rock has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Rock has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Bush is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Still in the clinch, Rock scores with a nice short uppercut.
Rock tries to work over Bush's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Lance Rock showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Rock feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bushs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Rock misses with a two punch combination.
Rock ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bush moves away.
Bush misses with a straight left.
Rock works Bush's body with a nice hook.

and Rock counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Bush shoots in and drives through. Rock sprawls well.
Rock appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Bush wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Rock avoids the head kick by Bush.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Rock! But no joy.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

A punch lands to the side of Bush 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Rock lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bush backs up against the cage.
Bush walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Rock throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bush stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Bush throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rock was covering up waiting for the punch and Bush finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Bush prevents Rock from getting back to his feet.
Bush with a nice head shot there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bush stops Rock from standing up.
Rock is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Bush missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Billy Bush has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Rock wants to stand but Bush is controlling the position.

Rock pushes Bush off and scrambles back to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
Lance Rock comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Rock has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
