Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between German Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Ribeiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ribeiro has chosen Rock on Bitch as his entrance music. German Cooper has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, German Cooper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pablo Ribeiro!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooper tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ribeiro feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Cooper could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Ribeiro drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Cooper dives on top into guard.
Ribeiro wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Cooper is now in half guard.
Ribeiro makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Ribeiro.
Cooper is standing up over Ribeiro. Ribeiro looks to escape but Cooper dives into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ribeiro tries to improve position but can't.
Ribeiro is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Cooper asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ribeiro is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Cooper's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Cooper! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Ribeiro has tapped! This one is allllll over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). German Cooper!
In defeat, Pablo Ribeiro stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'm going to return to kick asses'.
