Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andy Bangsit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lapu Lapu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lapu Lapu has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Andy Bangsit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lapu Lapu!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Alyssa Summers and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lapu throws a low kick, looking for Bangsit's leg but Bangsit calmly moves out of range.
Bangsit changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Bangsit looks for a takedown but Lapu sprawls well.
Bangsit tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Lapu defends well and Bangsit ends up having to push Lapu into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Lapu slaps away a takedown attempt from Bangsit, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Lapu throws a head kick that half lands.
Bangsit looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lapu looks to score with a jab to the body but Bangsit is just out of range.
No luck for Bangsit with that takedown attempt.
Lapu looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Bangsit shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lapu pinned against the cage. Lapu gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Lapu throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bangsit slips under a jab from Lapu.
Bangsit appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lapu lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bangsit has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bangsit and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Bangsit tries to counter with a takedown but Lapu is quick to defend against it.
Lapu Lapu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Bangsit takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Lapu has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.

and Bangsit counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Bangsit is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lapu sees it coming and defends easily.

That's time! Bangsit's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Bangsit shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lapu's corner calls for a 1-2. Lapu obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Lapu tries to land a front kick but Bangsit steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Lapu has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Lapu looks to land a body kick but Bangsit moved away.
Bangsit is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lapu sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Bangsit backing away here, and Lapu unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
No luck for Bangsit with that takedown attempt.

Lapu defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bangsit.

Bangsit is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Lapu throws a leg kick but Bangsit sees it coming and moves out of range.

Lapu gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Bangsit drops back looking for a leg! Lapu is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lapu manages to kick Bangsit off! Bangsit jumps back into Lapu's guard.

Lapu has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Bangsit is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Lapu.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A nice left hand lands by Lapu.
Lapu lands a hook to the side of the head.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lapu creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Bangsit tries to pull guard but Lapu won't allow it.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Bangsit has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Lapu regains guard immediately.
Bangsit working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Bangsit drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Bangsit seems to have locked his on tight now - Lapu screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Bangsit, as he picks up the win!
