The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perkins shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Henderson but Henderson pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Perkins drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Henderson keeping moving, preventing Perkins from controlling successfully.

Henderson looking for a guillotine here but Perkins defends easily.
Perkins sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Henderson 's guard.
Henderson is breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
