Coming up we have a bantamweight kickboxing rules bout between Billy Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julian Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wallace has chosen jackal as his entrance music. Billy Dixon could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Julian Wallace's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Billy Dixon!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Julian Wallace!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace tries to clinch but Dixon moves away
letting Dixon counter with a right hand.
Wallace swings widly with a right hand
and Dixon counters with a straight right hand.
Dixon works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Wallace throws a left and a right that both miss
and Dixon counters with a big head kick but Wallace shrugs it off.
Wallace swings widly with a right hand
and Dixon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.


Wallace is rocked!

Wallace closes the distance and clinches.

Wallace breaks from the clinch.
Wallace throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A jab from Dixon finds it's way through Wallace's defenses.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Dixon throws out a head kick that Wallace doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Wallace crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Wallace's eyes and has decided to let it go on!
Wallace is still on wobbly legs! Can Dixon finish him?

Wallace moves into the clinch.

Wallace's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Wallace scores with a jab.
Wallace seems to have recovered his senses.
Dixon looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Dixon lands with a kick to the temple. Wallace shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Wallace has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Dixon finds it's way round the side to connect with Wallace's head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wallace tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Wallace swinging wildly here.
Wallace throws a lazy uppercut
and Dixon counters with a straight right hand.

Wallace gets in close and instigates a clinch.
A short body shot lands from Dixon as the two fighters clinch.

Wallace breaks from the clinch.
A low kick from Wallace misses
and Dixon finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Wallace pushes Dixon up against the ropes in a clinch.

Wallace breaks the clinch.
Wallace is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Wallace throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wallace wants to clinch

and whilst Wallace still has his hands down, Dixon counters with a perfectly aimed head kick that sends Wallace crashing to the mat! Will he recover? 3,4,5,6,7 - he's back up! The referee looks into his eyes and asks him to walk forwards. He's going to allow this one to continue but will Wallace be able to survive another onslaught?

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dixon keeps the fight on the outside.
Wallace tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Dixon counters with an outside leg kick.
Wallace moves in looking to clinch but Dixon pushes him off.
Wallace misses with an uppercut
and Dixon counters with a left to the body.
Wallace tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Dixon counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Dixon digs a good body shot into Wallace's ribs.
Dixon thows a body kick. Wallace tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Dixon scoring well with a low kick there.
Wallace darts in trying to clinch
and Dixon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Dixon clips Wallace with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Wallace a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.
Wallace throws a looping overhand right but Dixon ducks down to avoid it.

Dixon staggers Wallace with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Wallace looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! Just in time and the ref is going to let the fight continue!

enabling Dixon to counter with a crisp jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Billy Dixon takes that one as he scored multiple knockdowns. Julian Wallace was lucky to get out of the first round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Dixon connects with an inside leg kick.
Dixon is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Dixon lands an overhand right.
Dixon uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wallace.
As Wallace looks to move away, Dixon throws a big counter combo but Wallace just gets out of the way.
Wallace scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Wallace moves into the clinch.
Wallace stalling.

Dixon breaks from the clinch.
Dixon lands the left hand.
Dixon catches Wallace napping and connects with a fantastic 3 punch combination that sends Wallace crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but he's all over the place - can he beat the count?!? 4,5,6,7,8...9...10! He didn't make it back to his feet! Dixon raises both arms skywards and takes in the roar from the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Billy Dixon!
