PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Buakaw Singha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiziano Scannagatta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scannagatta tries to clinch but Singha is having none of it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Singha lands with a short shot to the head.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Singha creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Scannagatta is rocked!
Singha creates a bit of space for himself and unleashed what can only be described as a tiger uppercut, straight out of Street Fighter! Scannagatta crashes to the mat! Can he make it back to his feet in time? 3,4,5,6... it doesn't look like he's going to make it! Scannagatta face plants back to the mat and the referee calls off the fight! Singha takes it with a brutal technical knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Buakaw Singha!
