The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samusiovas keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Samusiovas enables Thory to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Samusiovas manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Thory has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Samusiovas is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
