Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Caius Cosades (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cosades comes to the cage accompanied by Reign of the Septims. Manny Stone is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cosades throws a body kick that misses.
Stone feints the counter takedown.
Stone throws out a powerful jab.

and Stone connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Stone uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cosades.

Cosades shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Stone napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Cosades is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Stone can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Stone tries to lock up and control but Cosades gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Cosades lands a couple of good shots and Stone has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Stone felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Cosades.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cosades is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Cosades gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Cosades gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Cosades apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Cosades shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Stone is trying to defend but Cosades finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Cosades is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Stone sees it coming and defends easily.

Cosades has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Stone is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Cosades yanks on the arm and Stone is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Cosades.
