Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Monty Brier!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Shimada and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Walker shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Brier is looking for a triangle but Walker pushes his legs off easily.

Walker lands a couple of digs.
Walker stays in close to Brier's body and controls the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Walker lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Walker not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brier is looking for a triangle but Walker pushes his legs off easily.

Brier is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Walker defends well.

Walker slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Brier is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Walker passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Walker is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Brier is looking to reverse the position.
Walker gets to mount! Brier was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Brier takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Walker prevents Brier from getting the reversal.
Walker postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Brier looks a forlorn figure.

Brier slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Walker is nestled in close to Brier, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Brier has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Walker escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Walker!

That has opened up Monty Brier's cut even more.

The cut above Monty Brier's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Brier is looking to improve his position but Walker isn't that keen on the idea.

Monty Brier's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Monty Brier's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
