The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel Penn throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Steel Penn rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tiberio moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tiberio slips a straight right by Steel Penn.
Good work by Tiberio as he checks the leg kick.
Tiberio misses with a double jab.
Steel Penn was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Tiberio throws a solid leg kick but Steel Penn takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Tiberio.
Tiberio tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Steel Penn on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Tiberio. Tiberio obviously looking to wear him down.
Tiberio feints and then cracks Steel Penn's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Steel Penn down.
Tiberio definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tiberio on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Valmir Tiberio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tiberio staggers Steel Penn with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Steel Penn looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! Just in time and the ref is going to let the fight continue!

It looks like Mr Steel Penn has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tiberio comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Steel Penn throws an overhand right that lands on Tiberio's shoulder, as Tiberio tries to avoid the shot.

Steel Penn seems to have recovered his senses.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Steel Penn unleashes a big counter combination but Tiberio bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

That has opened up Mr Steel Penn's cut even more.
Tiberio swings for the body but Steel Penn moves out of range.

Tiberio closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Steel Penn crashing to the mat! Steel Penn uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!
Both fighters circling a little - Tiberio finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tiberio closes the distance and catches Steel Penn with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Steel Penn is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Steel Penn is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Steel Penn is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Tiberio takes it!
